Gerry Huang Pengyuan is a freshman at
NTU’s School of Mechanical & Aerospace
Engineering, and a committee member of
NTU’s Photo-Videographic Society.
“I first began to take photographs
about five years ago as a secondary
school student in China. In 2007,
I came to NTU to begin my bridging
programme, and last year, I decided to
switch to shooting film and to learn
traditional darkroom skills. I try to
relax when I am taking photographs;
after all, the photographic experience
isn’t only about the medium that
we use to capture the light, but also
encompasses the enjoyment and
excitement of shooting, and the
spirit of the images themselves.” |
